The 15 second version of this from the Making of Meteora DVD had such a huge influence on me as an awkward 15 year old kid. To hear a complete version of this song 20 years later is like a dream come true. Thank you Linkin Park for giving me this gift today!

Words can not describe the majesty of the legacy that Linkin Park has built up. Thank you, Chester, Mike, Rob, Dave, Brad, and Joe. Thank you.
  • I remember being a 14 years old boy in a small Italian city, on the bus to school, at 7am. A friend of mine comes to me with a CD player. "you need to hear this", his eyes are somehow shiny. I plug the in ears and he presses "play". Suddenly "papercut" hits me. I vividly remember that something clicked in my head. "What the heck is this? Why I feel different than a moment ago? Music can really be THIS good?". Linkin Park have been my gateway to post-grunge and metal. Hearing this newly released songs today, as a 35 years old man, makes me feel exactly the same as that 14 year old boy again. Thank you Linkin Park for this.

Unbelievable how Mike’s and Chester’s voices complement each other in such a perfect harmony. One of those rarest beauties the world gives us occasionally. I’m grateful immensely that I lived in time that allowed me to hear it.

I appreciate the fact that these unreleased songs come out and I would have believed they made it in the studio like last week man. Linkin Park's style will forever be timeless

It’s safe to say that Linkin Park is one of the best bands, not just of our generation, but one of the best bands ever
  • I personally think that this is the best unreleased track. So heavy and in all the right notes.

That clip of Rob from the DVD stuck with me all this time. I've waited 20 years to hear this song, thank you so much.

Wow. I just found out that Linkin park has been releasing these songs. I can't describe the feeling of hearing Chester's voice on a "new" song. Rest easy Chester. I miss you.
  • It still amazes me how much music sat dormant for 20 years. All of these unreleased tracks have not disappointed me on any level. So refreshing to have some new music to listen to.
  • @xoRuiox

How do they manage to make it feel like we’ve been listening to these tracks for 20 years?
  • Chilling to hear Chester in a "new" song. RIP brother, we will always remember you and the gift you gave us all in LP.

Lyrics: It′s safe to say, I've always felt this way Holding back my words again For fear, they′re uninvited Now, it's safe to say This point that I've been wrong, and it′s all been a mess I listen to the cars drive by and don′t know why that I couldn't have left But now, I′m stuck in the middle of a situation that I made appear You be surprised at how scared of the clarity You could be 'til you see it′s so clear But it's like I can′t really look at it rationally Wishing that you could look back what I see These things happen, but actually The things that happened have happened to me, so don't try to tell me it's all okay I′m reaching for this to fall away Yesterday′s problems here again today and it's safe to say It′s safe to say, I've always felt this way Holding back my words again For fear, they′re uninvited But now, it's safe to say This point you′ve been wrong, and it's all been a mess I placed all the signals out there and don't know why that you couldn′t have guessed And now you′re stuck in the middle of a situation that you made so real and you gotta just play with the cards that you got until it's your turn to deal But it′s like I can't really look at it rationally Wishing that you could look back what I see Everything you ever asked me to be Is there in the smallest fraction of me, so don′t try to tell me it's all okay You′re reaching for this to fall away Yesterday's problems here again today and it's safe to say It′s safe to say, I′ve always felt this way Holding back my words again For fear, they're uninvited But now, it′s safe to say No more regrets (I broke them down) No boundaries left (I broke them down) No asking how (I broke them down) No stopping now It's safe to say, I′ve always felt this way Holding back my words again For fear, they're uninvited But now it′s safe to say This fear is just a plague I'm taking back my heart again No longer undivided Now it's safe to say

I feel like people are still sleeping on Mike's verses in these new songs/demos. The rhythm and way the words flow are mesmerizing. I think Healing Foot and More the Victim have some of the best flows of any LP track I've heard. I might even say that they are the best part of the two songs.
