  • This song deserves the full single treatment like they did with Lost. It's incredible
  • I hope Mike sees all of these comments and continues to release all of the "B side" tracks. This is absolutely amazing.
  • Even their demos from 20 years ago are far better than todays music tbh....

The fact that songs like this didn't make it to the album, say a lot about the quality of LP's music. This song could easily be a single for any other band. Long life to Linkin Park đŸ€˜

How Linkin Park has had a song that they made 20 years ago sound like it just came out today is still so mind blowing. They were always so far ahead of the game.

Every time i get on youtube, i find a new song from Linkin Park and i find more songs to love to listen to. Chester never left, he's alive in each song.

To think that this song didnt make it on the official album is a crime, because this song is truly a beautiful gem uncovered from the archive. Such an amazing song. The melodic chorus and Shinoda’s lyricism blends so fucking well in this track, goddamn i miss Chester so fucking much, thank you Linkin Park đŸ–€
  • It's actually unreal how topical this song is now. This shows just how nuanced Linkin Park was lyrically. They were never just on the side of the angry and frustrated, even us, as the listeners, they told us "Yo, take a step back. Consider your emotions. Understand what you feel. Are you really miserable, or does it just feel like you are?" I never related to LP because I was "broken" or miserable. I related to them because they understood us. Not just the frustration, but the imaginary obstacles we put in our own way.

I've listened endlessly to your injury You wanna talk about your sores? You wanna talk about suffering? Maybe sympathy is all you're really hungry for 'Cause you just criticize and you fingerpoint And you say that they beat you down You may be victimized, but you're still the one Who won't just get up off the ground I used to be as innocent as you My excuses ran out Ran out of things to complain about Fear will always find a way to show right through You want to be more hurt than me You want to say you're more the victim You wanna complain and pass the blame You want to say you're more the victim You wanna talk constantly about misery And how you've been done so wrong You wanna bend your honesty and exaggerate With the stress that you've undergone There's never a compromise, no one can say That they've ever been hurt before They may be victimized, but you'll always say That you're a victim so much more I used to be as innocent as you My excuses ran out Ran out of things to complain about Fear will always find a way to show right through You want to be more hurt than me You want to say you're more the victim You wanna complain and pass the blame You want to say you're more the victim You wanna be just another someone Somebody angry, somebody broken You wanna be that? Then be it all alone You want to be more hurt than me You want to say you're more the victim You wanna complain and pass the blame You want to say you're more the victim You want to be more hurt than me You want to say you're more the victim You wanna complain and pass the blame Pass the blame, pass the blame

This song describes perfectly a covert narcissistic person, blame shifting, victimisation, manipulative, and 0 empathy for the other one. Thanks, Linking Park for this masterpiece.

This need a official music video, it's hidden gem. One of the best LP songs. Can't believe it's been hiding all that time.

This song speaks a lot of truths. I think we all met someone that just wanted to be more of a victim, that their pain was "larger" than our own and even though we understood their pain, they did not understand ours and even blamed us for being hurt and broken. I've met people like that in 2022, where their problems were larger than life and if you wanted them to be a source of comfort, they never held out their hand to comfort you in any way and even made things worse. Even after 6 years, Chester is still here speaking facts
  • @TechieSnake
