I'm sure the Jason x brick is also helped by how often that character was knocked out, 3 in the mark Athena alone
  • I’m glad Viria’s art replaced Antonio’s. Even though Antonio’s art is iconic, it isn’t what I imagine when I think of what percy looks like and Viria’s style is just more pleasant

There is one minor inaccuracy at 7:35. In one of the Riordan Presents series, the Last Fallen Star, it does have a scene where it mentions the Riordanverse. The character gets a cut and uses nectar to heal herself, mentioning that her parents get it from a seller in New York, which is where the Greek gods are based.
  • Jason x brick is great, even when Uncle Rick acknowledged it in Magnus Chase book 2. The chapter name for one was called " I pass out more than Jason Grace (and I don't even know who that is)" 😂

My favorite obscure PJO fact is that Percy's grandma's name was retconned. In the Ultimate Guide, there's a newspaper clipping of the plane crash that killed Sally's parents, and it lists her mother's name as Laura Jackson, and in Ship of the Dead it was retconned to the more well known Estelle.

As someone who was diagnosed with ADD in 5th grade and also loved greek mythology as a kid, these books were a huge part of my childhood and my life. They gave me so much hope and confidence in myself because in the early 2000s kids with ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia were told that they're brains didn't worked right and that they had "learning disabilities." Personally, I hate that term cause it has such negative effect on kids. In reality, our brains work fine, just differently, and that exactly what Rick Riordan pushes and focuses on in the entire series. It shows kids that there isn't anything wrong with them, they're brains just work differently than other peoples and it isn't their fault they're doing bad in school, its the schools fault because modern schools are not built to help kids learn effectly. I still recommend this series to kids and adults, cause sometimes even adults need to know they aren't broken, just different.
  • Um correction ,the original title was The Son of The Sea God but he changed it because his students complained it would spoil who Percy,s dad was
  • Here's an extra piece of deep lore: Originally, there was going to be a Fox Titan's Curse adaptation. We know this because the actor's contracts were for 3 movies. Given that the actors didn't do any acting for it, the film must have been cancelled early in development. It's still possible that at least part of a script and some other stuff was made and is just sitting in a vault somewhere. I once went looking and the most I could find was someone on the Camp Half Blood subreddit back in like 2015 offhandedly mentioning how the film was in development and that Riordan received material pertaining to it.
  • The woman who wrote the ‘curse of hera’ also made a book very similar to Kane Chronicles called ‘Tut: my epic adventure…’
  • Don't worry guys, the three people who disliked, probably disliked that there wasn't some super obscure lore like a spelling error in chapter 4 of the Titan's Curse.
  • Congrats on your new longest vid! Also the last level: The Abyss, should have been called Tartarus
  • 4:30 Jason was knocked out by a brick more than once if I remember correctly. Or he was knocked out somehow multiple times at least (to the point Rick Riordan made a reference in one of the chapter titles of Magnus Chase.)

Pov: Nico playing pokemon and Leo telling him not to choose squirtle

Nice vid! Also, fun fact: Haley from second layer actually wrote a Riordanverse story

Ill be absolutely honest. The ds gamr was my first experience with the series and i still love it. Mostly from nostalgia tho . And idk how but it still is more faithful yo the books that the movie

The Percy Jackson video game section gave me a good chuckle
  • Having ADHD and liking Greek Mythology was awesome when reading these books tbh. Like... it was cool to read and I was a little TOO into it 😅 even now, years later, at 20 years old, while I don't read the other books after I finished Heroes of Olympus, I do visit it all on some social media every now and then, mostly on Reddit
  • This was immaculate and and spectacular. Man I can't wait

For the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, me and my sister actually got the 10th anniversary covers first, and I didn't know they're not the 'usual' ones until now, so yay, I'm happy!
