No rules are written to give Noah the gold over Kishane, when BOTH HAD the same TIME (9.79s). Case in point: 2008 Olympics Women's 100m Final: Sherone Simpson 10.980 and Kerron Stewart 10.980. Both got Silver. 2024 Olympics changed the rules on the spot! Both men won Gold.

"For all races up to and including 10,000m, unless the time is an exact 0.01 second, the time shall be converted and recorded to the next longer 0.01 second, example 26:17.533 shall be recorded as 26.17.54". 1000th of a second was made up for this race.
