this song speaks volumes about the haunted aperture facility, so much goofy heartwarming shit took place here, that once meant glee to the people who experienced it, and that very same shit has turned daunting, disturbing and chillingly enigmatic over the years. It was once a place of scientific magnificence, and full of booming success. that same magnificence and success became a haunting shadow over the place...im not even being poetic, thats what this song feels like

The name of the song is so cool because it kinda implies that for the 50000 years you’ve been asleep bots have been building more of themselves and expanding aperture and we can see the assembly line of bots building something in the place this plays

i like how this song hints at atlas and p-body being made, and how the co-op mode ties in the main campaign. the title ‘bots build bots’ hints at glados making atlas and p-body, or orange and blue

Starts calm, goes digital glitch, then mostly glitch with synth and finally, the original melody but digitally copied and converted then all combined.

This makes me think about the progression from natural processes and evolution, to human use of technology, to self-improving AI, like it’s all just one big process. From random mutations and natural selection, to intelligent experimentation with strategies and use of tools, to intelligent self-modification and enhancement. Different mechanisms, same overall principle.

Here is how I See this "song" 1. Humans build Bots. The Music Is smooth, and Calming. 2. The humans get gassed by Glados. Bots Start Building Bots. The music changes. 3.A gigantic army of bots is Created. The music gets dramatic.
