“I do intend on retiring at some point” And whenever that day comes, we’ll be grateful for the many years of joy you have offered us.

When I was a kid, I liked Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, and DanTDM because they were funny and full of energy. This year, I turn 18, and I feel like I've grown alongside people I've never even met, who have inspired me so much. I can't thank you enough, Seán.

If Jacksepticeye did retire, he should make a final video to make a remix of all the way.

I dont comment a lot, or much at all, ever. I've been watching you and your growth for years and cannot express how much I personally and probably many others watch your channel for YOU not just for the content (which is also great no matter what) but just to see you. I've sort of leaned on your videos new and old to get through rough times or just to put on to listen through again (recently the below zero playthrough). You're missed when you take needed breaks and its always so exciting to see that upload notification when you come back. I know I'm speaking into the comment section abyss but its gotten me through family deaths and a divorce so I cant overstate it. You mean so much to so many people and when you decide to leave YouTube a lot of us will still be here, watching and rewatching because we WANT to not just because your channel is available but we genuinely enjoy you as a person. You take care of yourself and we will always be here to support you. When the time comes that you leave YouTube I hope you have the time and ability to do whatever you dream of, that you're able to get done anything you put your mind to (and healthily) because you deserve it and any great things that come your way❤

FOR ALL MY ANXIOUS FOLK: He says he's not retiring from Youtube yet. He does wish to retire at some point but not at the moment. Jesus Christ Jack my heart just stopped for a few seconds, oh my God... [EDIT TO ADD] Though I put this here so my anxious folk won't have a heart attack, STILL WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO! IT'S VERY IMPORTANT AND JACK NEEDS ALL OUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!

Dude I'll be 22 in a couple of weeks and I've been watching you, mark and others that have retired quite a while back, for I don't know how many years. Probably started when I was around 14 and didn't really understand english all that much. As a kind of "grown up" who has a job and lives on his own now, I really haven't been watching you or any others actively for a while, but instead went back to rewatch some older stuff. I don't wanna say I grew out of it, but I kind of did in a good way. And yeah, being able to understand and kinda relate to some of the things you said, it makes sense that you'll retire some day. No hard feelings. Keep it up for as long as you want to do it and don't force it is what I've learned. Even if you'll probably never see this message, I wanna sincerely thank you for the cool time you gave me during my childhood and always putting a smile on my face back then. Cheers. :^)

Bro. This man, dantdm, stampy, and markiplier were my childhood
  • Retiring from YouTube doesn't mean you'd be retiring from being you. We're all here for you, Jack. And we will continue to be. We love you 💚
  • @mari8160
There are a lot of people here just saying " you scared me " or " don't fuck with me " and I understand. We love this man and his journey and will be sad to see him leave. The thing is, if it's better for Jack's health and he has other projects to keep him happy, then we should support and enjoy those as well. I've been watching for 9 years now, and with all the positive emotions this man has given, he deserves more in return.

Thank you for making my childhood Sean! The day that you retire will be bittersweet, but we will all celebrate the impact you made on our lives!!

I remember when I first subscribed to you, you had 4,000 followers. It’s been so amazing growing up with you. You helped me in some of my darkest times. You’re such an important piece of my life, I’m turning 22 this week. I’ve watched nearly every single video you’ve ever put out. Your content is great to watch no matter what the vibe is. I’m so proud of you man, you’re so inspiring. I have my fair share of mental health issues, and it makes me so happy you’ve always been so open about your own personal struggles. I love that you have breaks for yourself and I always support them. I’ll check if you’ve come back, I know for me I miss you. I always hope that you’re doing well. You’ve made such a huge impact on my life in beautiful ways. The amazing thing about you, is that no one else is like you. My whole life I’ve felt so out of place and different, but you made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Being different is your super power, no one can do this shit like you can. You helped me learn to love who I was, because if I could relate to you and the things you enjoy, then I was a pretty fucking cool person. When the day comes and you’re ready to close this chapter and begin your next, I forever support you. Thank you for everything. - Sincerely, a fan crying while typing this

Dude, I m 59, and my daughter is 21. We sit for hours laughing and enjoying your videos and comedy. We appreciate you. Today, we are watching the Hitman series of videos and spending time together. If you ever doubt you make a difference, don't, because you do. Take care of yourself and know that you do impact folks lives
  • Sean, it's honestly really encouraging to hear you talk honestly about your mental and physical health and about the stuff you're excited about creating in the future! As someone who is also an overthinker and all-or-nothing, it really resonated with me. And no matter what you choose going forward, you are an inspiration to me as I try to be creative in my spare time while also taking care of my mental health. Praying for you and all aspects of your health. Hugs.
  • Man I was 14 when I started watching you, I’m 24 now and I loved watching but I drifted from the channel in interests. I relate alot with your struggles, had migraines since 10, always compare myself to a chihuahua. I’m very happy to have now discovered your podcast and other creative endeavors! What ever brings you peace and joy! Much love.
  • @karmaticx
Whatever you choose to do, Jack, we'll be here. Your struggle is valid, and we appreciate that you want to talk about it.
  • I'm 53, no kids. I found Jack's channel way back when he was in the little wood cabin. I've absolutely loved watching him, and his channel, and his community grow so much over the years. Whatever it is he does, I'll be 100% supportive. Thank you for everything, Seán. Ag cur dea-mhéin chugat!
  • @rezoannur2333
I was never the biggest fan of your vids but I really respect you. I've been dealing with a lot lately and hearing about your battle with depression, anxiety etc. helps me. I hope you find peace.
  • All I can say is thank you for being an influence for so many of us here. I've been here around the channel since Happy Wheels and I know for a fact that you made my childhood great now im 23 and I still love seeing videos from you especially ones that's 7 or 9 years ago and even now . Just know you put smiles on everyone here. And when it comes to videos, do what you believe would give a kid hope or something, but again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and from everyone else who watch your videos just know we love you Sean. Again, thank you for making my teenage years great. A great big top to the morning to ya. I love the videos. Thank you, and never forget that you changed people for the better, and the ones that were on the last legs ended up getting better from watching your videos. Thank you so much.
