This scene always makes me hungry. Looks like an Kitchen of a great Italian restaurant. An aristocrat ?

Coming from a big Italian family, this was us every Sunday. When I was a kid, I wasn't allowed to help cook. All I was allowed to do is take the bread in and out of the oven. When I got older, my grandmother taught me how to make her sauce and I took over that. I'm 49 now and most of my family is dead and gone, but me, my mother, one aunt, and my cousins still get together when we can and have a nice dinner.

Every person in this scene has passed on. Yet we still watch and quote it on a daily basis! Such a classic film!

I love how when Vinnies explaining himself... the 3 onions were "little onions" and the tomoatoe sauce cans were "2 big cans" lol

have you ever noticed that this film is literally just one classic scene after another? probably one of the best films of all time.

This movie holds such a special place in my heart. I watched it at least once if not twice a day sometimes for about 30 days straight after my dad passed. Just something comforting about it. Fantastic movie

It's hard to come away from this scene without wanting, just once in your life, to have dinner with these guys.

I love Paulie throughout the film saying, "Let's eat." Like that's all they did.

One thing i always LOVED about this scene Vinny tried justifying putting 3 onions in by calling them small and calling the cans of tomatoes 2 big cans 😂

This scene gives me a Christmas gathering kind of feeling. Very nice

Fun fact: Vinnie is played by Martin Scorsese's dad and Joe Pesci's mom is Scorsese's Mom. He used his parents in the movie. Family man respects his parents

Hold up. Something I wasn't paying attention to before. They're all dressed down, but Henry is not? And he's walking in with a sack of deli meats, cheese and wine? Does that imply that Henry can just...walk out? He was sent food shopping? I figured the sack was contraband from some postal room. And he merely went elsewhere in the prison. But the bread is "fresh". And wherever he went, he clearly got to browse types of food. Is the skinny guard being a pain in the ass because Henry is just freely moving in and out of the walls?

I just love how quickly Paulie moves when Henry brings out the red wine then immediately takes the white wine as soon as it is mentioned.
