It's actually pretty cool that when Macaque was 'tormenting' mk with the shadows of his friends. He was actually teaching him with combating multiple enemies. And not his clones either, individual enemies. Which is different! It's a cool lesson, even if his way of teaching was...questionable.

I love how in season 4 he doesn’t even try to be a bad guy, he just helps MK out with that weird turning into monkey thing, and gives us some good ol macaque vibes.

The quote that got me to watch LMK was “oh ho ho no, what’s wrong? Cant hold the magicstaff anymore? Welp you know what that means! slams MK to a wall .. you’re just some kid with a heavy stick.” LITERALLY THE REASON I WATCHED THIS MASTERPIECE OF A SHOW. mac and mk have a fun relationship dynamic. like mac cares enough to actually teach him lessons mk does use, and cares enough to warn him of things. of course it's a little messed up for obvious reasons but i can see them getting along better in future seasons. 10:24 also well over a year later and i still cant get over how he put his grubby little paws on tangs glasses like that! on the lens!

Hate me if I’m wrong, but Macaque and Wukong are the embodiment of that divorced couple who stick around just for their kid (in this case, MK)

i remember it took me a bit to get used to his voice because i could only picture osomatsu haha. before i watched the show, i thought his voice would be much deeper and sinister sounding. but billy really did an amazing performance with him. its so so unfortunate what happened…and ugh i know they have to recast his roles but…it feels disrespectful somehow 😭 sad. rest in peace billy, and know that you’ve entertained so many with your talents.

The only reason I continued this series was because of Macaque's voice. I melt every time I hear it and will still melt. I wasn't here in time to tell Macaque's VA how much I appreciate him but wherever he'll be, I hope he's having a great time.
