When we decided to take on this project, we knew that there was a risk involved, as we weren't so sure how many people would still care about Bloodborne this far after its release, but seeing the amount of people who are still as passionate about Bloodborne as we are, and the amazing comments and support you've shown, it's why we love making these videos, THANK YOU! My favourite thing about BB's implementation of cosmic horror tropes is that despite the existence of Great Old Ones, the real horror comes from the humans and their hubris
  • Man, hearing gherman cry out for help with such desperation and knowing help is never coming is honestly soul crushing. That line weighs so much more when you fight him at the end. Isshin sword Saint is their best boss ever but the lore and reason behind fighting Gherman is hands down fromsoftware’s best achievement in story telling.

Ghermans final voice lines as you deny the way out of the dream will always hit me, the sadness of home believing you’ve started losing your mind in the hunt, the solemn determination to put you down. Gave me chills
  • To this day, Bloodborne remains to be one of my favourite games. The lore, our adventure, it's all just so beautiful in a tragic way. Loved listening to this so much.

After all these years. People still care and it warms my heart. You got a new subscriber brotha
  • vaatis old video was incredible but as the years went on it felt lacking in some aspects, this video not only filled the gaps but added WAY more context to the timeline, the narration was incredible and truly worthy of some madman's respect. Our eyes have been opened.

The outer God ending is perfect because of the doll. The doll says & i quote "......of course I do love you, Isn't that how you made me?" And that same doll now looks after the infant Great one. If we forget about being a human, The person who guides us is literally made of compassion. We teach ourselves love and compassion through our creation: The doll
  • @p3pable
"Tonight, Gehrman joins the hunt" I always get goosebumps when I hear that line, it's so epic
  • @lukeberonio1731
Actually I think being reborn as a great one is the good ending because you see the doll looking after the reborn hunter in the final cutscene, and perhaps the doll will nurture this infant great one and teach it empathy and human values
  • @evilajax5657
"It just isn't fair" is a perfect statement to describe humanity in bloodborne, like petulant children, believing they are owed greatness when in reality they are so far below the great ones

The whole section about Maria had me crying. Her story is so tragic and beautiful. I couldn’t contain the emotion listening about her connection with the doll. That on top of Laurence, Gehrman, and Gascoine… this game had me bawling mid boss fights. Also, as an artist I would like to mention that so far this is one of my favorite games due to the immense detail put into it. The colors, the moon, the horror aspects, pointy, black structures, eery lamps, the white flowers in the hunter’s dream- it’s all so beautifully designed. Love Bloodborne. 🥲

No offense to Master Vaati, the works here are - to me - among the best transcriptions of a story's lore I've ever seen. The pace, is relentless, and yet considerate, and speaks not with haste but with purpose. It speeds along, not in impatience but toward further, deeper insights and elaborations. Like a speed painting of a masterpiece, you have woven a nightmare into being. Now I know, that while I have killed Gehrman many times in that field of flowers, I never knew Him until this moment. Thank you, Brothers, for giving us the gift of understanding a world I have always known passion for, and now with confidence -- can say I truly love.
  • @bneach1
I have to imagine the only reason this amazing, rediculously high quality video doesn't have more views is LACK OF INSIGHT 👀
  • @rizamboi2776
The hunter was so powerless to help other in the beginning and when they get so powerful they have none to save anymore
  • @jezackr3500
The bloody sceleton beating on the gates in the Nightmare will forever be the most nightmarish thing this game showed me. What was done to that person, what fear was so horrific that it stayed with the bones long after the flesh has left them?
  • @okayfire6690
51:15 It’s honestly breathtaking how beautiful and well designed the environment and gameplay are in this game. Your footage of this part in particular is one of my favorites because it’s the best example. Thank you for this video.
  • I’ve watched so many “what is bloodborne” and “what is dark souls” story videos but it still is so enjoyable. Such an immortal story that fromsoft were able to create.
  • @foamhead4785
Patient: Oh lady Maria…I am always in pain…everything hurts…please help me Lady Maria: Go pick flowers
