Air Purifiers I've Returned, Kept and How I am Using Them
In this video i'll be briefly explaining my reasons for both keeping and returning several air purifiers. I will also explain how I use each air purifier I kept throughout my home. If further information is needed I will leave links to each specific air purifier YouTube video below.

I went with the levoit 600s as well for my office. I have 2 other levoit 400 as well that work well and are so easy to control via the phone. They work really well and their filter cost isn't too bad.

I love my Levoit! As you mentioned the white noise is comforting. I travel and it is so easy to use.
  • Awesome video. I've watched many about purifiers, but yours helped me make my decision. Im going for the Levoit 600S.

I have four Oransi air purifiers and they do a great job. I have two older models of theirs called Oransi Max and they have air sensors but I just set the fan speed based on what’s going on in the house and the Air Quality Index of the outside air that day. I also have two Oransi Mods and they do an excellent job of moving lots of air in my bedroom. They are very simple machines with no air sensors or remotes which I like. Everything went into making a quality air purifier that works. The filters last 6-12 months depending on conditions. Mine last longer because I clean them off every month or so and I have more filters than recommended for my small home. But I have asthma and these really improve my condition to the point where I love being home because breathing is not a problem at home. The filters are also reasonably priced. I never tried any other filters because I am so happy with these. When comparing filters look at the CADR and filter cost over the years. Sensors, remotes and Bluetooth do nothing to clean the air they are marketing gimmicks.

Great and don't feel like ads reviews. Keep up the good work.
  • I have the Blueair 211 + auto and it is fantastic ultra quiet and super sensitive to air quality and quickly cleans . This is without a doubt a winner. Thanks for the reviews

Yes, you need to set the Levoit 600s manually all the time because it only has a PM2.5 sensor that can detect small particles like smoke but nothing else. Doesn't detect smell, doesn't detect dust, pollen, or anything. It's close to useless on auto settings. The filters are really great, but you need to constantly adjust the fan manually when you smell an odour, feel there is dust in the air, or see pollen. The problem is that I did;t expect I'll need to tell it what to do. It's a glorified fan with a great filter that's let down by not knowing what's happening around it. If you live next to a busy road and breathe car fumes 24/7, this will be a great purifier because it will detect the small fume or smoke particles really well on the Auto setting. If you want it to automatically detect dust, pollen, and odours, then it won't. It will happily sit there on the lowest setting thinking the air is perfectly clean, when it's not.

Press and hold the power button on the Winix to turn off the plasmawave (if you don't have the remote).
  • I have a Levoit which is making the exact same noise. When I complained to the company they wanted me to make a video to prove it, but the frequency is so high that it doesn't record.

this is a great review video. I'm really leaning towards the Core 600s. How's it doing 1 year later? also, if I have one piece of advice for future videos is to work on breath control

Any concern Re: Levoit removing its True HEPA labels after the controversy with Dyson?

Thank you I have made my decision after a reasrch and your video was the closer ✅️

Used a Dylos dc1100 pro to test air purifiers and the winix 5500 has the best performance.
  • @MissionForward3
I purchased a Winix 5300-2 mainly because my friend has one and the difference in air quality is immediately recognizable once I step into his tiny home. He has a 12 x 20 all on one level. Mine is a 10 x 20 with a bedroom loft. So then I began wondering where would be the best place to place it and whether I should buy a second one for down stairs. Any recommendations would be appreciated... Great video... Thx.

I don't believe that smaller filters or lower air throughput can only cover small rooms, because pm 2.5 particles remain in suspension even with very little air movement and do not settle. It just takes longer for them to be caught by the filter. So, to keep the air in a room clean, you don't need a powerful, high-performance air purifier. You may only need it if you want to reduce fine dust pollution as quickly as possible. I have a Smartmi p1 in my 40 sqm living room, which is designed for a maximum of 30 sqm. It keeps the air clean throughout the room, even at low speeds. But I also don't live in a heavily polluted area.

I purchased the LeVoit 400S for Christmas and I've been very pleased with how quiet and efficient it seems to be; I think you got a bad unit? However, I've noticed that every time it goes from sleep to efficient mode, it's VERY loud for about 10 minutes. I thought maybe it does this because overnight the air quality has dropped a bit and it needs to jump into turbo mode to clean the air again, but looking at the recorded air quality readings that doesn't seem to be the case. Does anyone know why it gets so loud and powerful when transitioning from Sleep to Efficient mode every morning?

have you ever tested a "rosenthal box" (4-5 20"x20" filters plus a box fan), or just a simple single 20"x20" filter + box fan?
