HONG KONG VLOG | Visiting Hong Kong's OLDEST OPERATING, FRUIT MARKET from 1913. It's crazy!

This all started when I wanted a pasta machine, a rooster bowl and to check out the newest IG hotspot, which was one of the oldest cha chaan tengs (Hong Kong style cafes) turned into a coffee spot but with all the original decor relatively intact. So off we went! To lunch first of course. During the day, we also ended up at Hong Kong's oldest fruit market build in the 1913, and is now listed as a history grade 2 building, so don't forget to look up when you're at the fruit market. Legend has it that the fruit market was also a hotbed of criminal activity back in the days, and the drug deals would behind the durian stand to cover up any smells or noises, or what not. Nowadays, it's a lot less criminal, but still a lot of fruit! Oh, and I almost missed out on the fact that we have an entire street dedicated to kitchenware and appliances, ranging from Cantonese BBQ pork wood stump chopping boards, to pasta machines, to modern industrial grade equipment, etc! It's worth a stroll. We finished the day off we some fluffy scrumptious egg sandwiches, which are, in my humble opinion, even better than the egg sandwiches at 7/11!

Those French toast chicken wings tho! I’ve also never had a bowl with a rooster on it, but I’ve had a lot of other Chinese blue art and red “dynasty” bowls.
