Thanks be to our Protestant brothers and sisters who have helped many of us dig deeper and discover authentic Catholicism, especially with their genuine love of Scripture .

I am a protestant, but I have a lot of respect for Catholics. Thank you for sharing. I’ve learned a lot.

At 17, I was hammered by a Protestant school mate concerning Mary and worshiping statues. She said that Catholics do not follow the bible. It began me asking my priest to explain the faith to me (even though I was already confirmed). This led me on a long journey of discovering my faith even more so that I became deeply grounded in Catholicism. It was then, I understood, Sola Scriptura. So this headline caught my attention as this is also my story. I grew to love our Blessed Mother even more and learnt my faith even more deeply. Thanks for your testimony.

I am 23 years old and have been Catholic my whole life. It was just last year May 2019 when I started really understanding my faith. Praise God I was not swayed by other beliefs!!! 🥰
  • My sister married a Baptist and they tried to convert us to become Baptist too. But that didnt happend for us. I sudied in a Catholic School and there are lessons in the Catechism in the Catholic Faith that made me realized that my religion is true. Thank you for your sharing. Catholics should study their faith and read the scripture and study their faith too.

Great story and awesome outcome. Halfway through, I was wondering “ what happened to that girl?” I also married a Protestant ( Methodist) girl who wanted to marry a Catholic! I am Catholic since 17 and am so blessed because she chose me; and brought up my children as Catholics. She entered the Catholic Church before my second child was born. She was my gift from God but God took her back to be with him after 39 years of our marriage. I am still staunchly Catholic.

My mother in law made me more Catholic by challenging my believes. I had study and find out why we did things a certain way and I found out that everything is based on the scripture and early Christian teaching. Thank you bother God Bless all.

You just blew my mind with the "Jesus didn't establish a book as the foundation of faith, but the Church." I have never in my life thought about that before.
  • @polishmehappy
Very good brother. Stay strong in the faith. We need more young people like you, thank you for sharing your story!
  • @christiand6204
Amazing! The Lord has lead me back to the Catholic Church too, and I’m hoping to be confirmed in a few months!
  • @matthewmcdean5694
I'm honestly amazed how my own story is so similar to yours. Catholic faith brings me so much peace and happines... Praise be to our Lord.
  • I am not Catholic, but I respect Catholicism. I especially love stories about how people learn to love Faith and embrace it.
