I'm a child of Iranians, and even I feel bad for the tragedy which has befallen Iraq. We're not talking about a poor, chaotic country. Iraq was rich and modern.

It's always interesting to watch old propaganda videos like this one, trying to portray Saddam's Iraq as some sort of democratic western and modern country lol!

Let us not forget, Iran was not just fighting with Iraq. Many countries were supporting Sadam with arms and intelligence; they world did nothing when Sadam used chemical weapons and finally US shot down Iranian airliner to signal the end of the war. There were lots of dirty games people don't know about, but fortunately most of well documented online.

Revenge is dish best served cold....!! Saddam wanted to gain a lousy River, ended up losing the whole Country to Iran! At the end of the day, Saddam along with fools who followed him were the ultimate losers...! Let this be a lesson to the ones who dream about going down the same path!
