WARNING, this video has visual content some may find disturbing. This is a follow on of my 7 Wooden Railway Ultra Review, where I pick off 5 toy brands and do some destructive testing of the engine models and track they use. In the end there is only one winner and who do you feel comes first, second and third. Thanks to the youtubers who assisted me with ideas for the destruction tests.

The wooden train sets represented are TT Brand (K-Mart), Aldi Wooden Train Set, Imaginarium (Toys R Us), Chuggington & Thomas & Friends.

My comparison of 7 wooden train sets can be found here.

  • Who else remembers these days of youtube? Destruction test, reviews, collections, hauls, lego reviews, competitions, behind the scenes, showing off film making skills. All of these you did and all you did very well.

yes, Thomas comes out of this quite well indeed, surely a high quality toy

With all the torture that Thomas had faced, he still smiles like the happy engine he is. Great video review by the way Leo.

The way Sir Topham Hatt runs his railway, this day was bound to come
  • @Klurty34
Just a quick note - The Donald's tender is a lot older than the rest of the engines. The same model has been continually re-issued since 1992 I believe, hence why it most likely took more damage than the newer Thomas.

As a Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway collector, this video is both entertaining and nightmare fuel
  • 0:19 “video contains imagery that may scare younger viewers” That was 7 years before COPPA was even introduced here!

sorry for the delay uploading this it was finished last year, I have had another partner youtuber stealing my video's and this had me away from youtube while I address this problem
  • @PokelordEX
Thomas: I'm blistered, argh! And yet he still keeps his happy face. It's amazing, no child is going to use cement mixers, large hammers or furnaces, and in comparison it goes to show how much a child can play with toys before they get in even minor condition. Great video Leo =)

I feel so nostalgic for these videos It brought me back to when I was little
  • Another test you could give them is a water test. When I was little I had an Emily that I left in our wet sandbox for over a year and it was in terrible condition with paint dealing and sudden pieces that have come apart

@cubeproduktion this video was not shot in HD, it has been upsized when encoded. the problem I have with HD is this, when I look at my viewing data it tells me most of my views come from mobile devices (small screens), this number is continuing to grow, where I live the Internet is super slow compared to what's seen in other countries, uploading HD adds loads of extra time on what can be a fragile youtube uploader which seems to hang forever in processing

In that fire part they look like they are in the gateways of hell
