Did NOT expect that voice. Still horrendous ordeal to go through. Lucky to have been sent home , others have not been.

Unlike some people, at least she says she messed up.

I would not want to live in Russia, let alone be a prisoner there. She is very lucky and blessed to be alive and back home.

I hope she keeps in contact with Alaina somehow
  • Dude , I’m Russian but I have more respect for her after watching this . Not many men have ballz to admit they made a mistake . She’s a decent person. We are all humans and not perfect. My mistakes almost killed me and others many times , so I don’t judge. I thought she’s just arrogant basketball star , but she isn’t . At east seems to be
  • big difference between traveling by plane and car. anytime you pack for a flight, even domestic, you need to check your bags and everything you put in then (pockets, etc)

The online hate against this woman, who won gold medals for her country has been awful. Glad she’s telling her side.
  • At least she takes accountability for her actions and seems humbled by the experience

It's easy to sit in the comments and condemn this woman for a mistake. She clearly said she knew it was illegal and just forgot they were in there. None of you would have that same negative energy if it were you that was locked up in Russia or a family member. So stop with the hypocritical BS
