People should not say it is horrible. I bought some for the first time a week ago and I have eaten it every day since. I love it! I have read many times that it is THE superfood, not A superfood. The fermented soybeans have vitamin K2 and let he body absorb the K2 better than anything else. I read a post from a man that had badly clogged arteries. He was 73 years old. He read natto unclogged the arteries. He ate it every day for two years, then got another test for his arteries; they were perfectly clean. His doctor was shocked.

My Grandmother used to serve Natto with grilled salmon, soy sauce egg omelet cooked in butter and miso soup for breakfast. Thank you for sharing your recipes. I love your channel!!!

The first time eating Natto I did not like it. But I tried it again since I had a 3 pack in my freezer and now I love it and eat it almost every day, so does my 2 year old daughter! She uses her pororo chopsticks for eating! My secret is to use Ponzu dipping sauce for eating it. It tastes amazing and more palatable! Of course, I have become a natto connoisseur, and my local Korean market has 3 different kinds, the best tasting one has rice powder in the actual Natto, I wonder what for.

I love natto.  I usually add two umeboshi, Japanese mustard and the dashi to it and eat it without rice for breakfast.  Super yummy!

I tried this and liked it, only I subbed out soy sauce for tare sauce, added a bit more katsuobushi, and put in some umeboshi. It was different; the salty, umami, and sweet additions balanced out the strong taste of the natto.

God I love natto so much. I can eat it by the bucket and I'll never get sick of it, although if I eat too much it does make my pee smell weird.

I tried it today for the first time and it doesn't taste bad. I am restricting carbohydrates, so I skipped the rice and just used the accompaniments that came with the Natto. I will keep eating it for my health.

I read that if you stir it enough the texture will improve and not be slimey.
  • I do my own natto using dried rice straw. I live in Brazil, Ceara State.
