Celine's performance at the opening ceremony was nothing short of extraordinary. Her strength and resilience in the face of a challenging neurological disease are profoundly inspiring. Despite her personal battles, she delivered a breathtaking performance that touched the hearts of everyone present. Celine, you have shown us the true meaning of courage and dedication. Your talent and spirit continue to shine brightly, reminding us all of the power of perseverance and the triumph of the human spirit. Thank you for your incredible contribution and for being a beacon of hope and inspiration to us all.

Is impossible not to cry. Hands down the most beautiful stage a singer has ever performed, with thr symbolism of what the Olympics represent and the parallels with the health battles she had to overcome, is just sublime.

Easily one of the greatest vocal performances of our lives to witness. She's is a leading by example that sheer will and a powerful spirit of love triumphs over all!

Thanks for covering this. It was so moving and perfect, and it was a once-in-a-lifetime performance. She was such a vision of triumph of the human spirit, and her voice was outstanding. I love Kelly’s reaction because it seemed to mirror what many in the audience were feeling. Powerful and amazing.

Celine Dion - Hymn a l'Amour 💖☮💖 Incredible performance. Pure Magic. Edith Piaf smiled from Heaven on Céline Dion. Nobody could have sung this better.
  • @Rosannasfriend
You’re right. Keeping her so far and away from the audience was done intentionally to make sure there was as little stimulation as possible toward her, mentally and emotionally. And all that did was serve to make the whole thing more lofty and amazing!

  • Celine Dion you are so strong and so brave. What a spectacular performance you did at the 2024 Olympic’s!! I can’t stop watching you. Continue to fly, beautiful, you are such an incredible inspiration. What Kelly Clarkson said about you being the greatest vocal athlete is so true. You’re inspiring to me and so many other people in this world. I’m cheering for you!! ❤❤❤

I was so happy to see her performing, but I wish they wouldn’t call a “comeback”. I am a person in chronic pain a lot like Celine. We can have one great day and then go into 10 horrible days or more. I just feel like “comeback” is not an appropriate word in Celine case. The public may jump to the conclusion they should see her start touring again. She won’t know minute to minute, day to day how she’s going to feel. Until she gets stronger, and feels up to performing, people should respect that and not jump to conclusions, especially those who don’t know what she’s going through. Celine is strong, and I have no doubt she will bless us with her voice for years.❤
