HONG KONG VLOG | Eating cart noodles, top-rated dumplings, carving mahjong tiles & Nam Shan Estate!

Over the weekend, I took a Creative Mahjong Tiles Colouring Workshop in Shek Kip Mei in Kowloon also known as the dark side. The retired master used to hand carve mahjong tiles so he showed us how, and then we got to paint the mahjong tiles so we could take home for ourselves.
The class was at the JCCAC centre in Shek Kip Mei, so we decided to EAT THROUGH SHEK KIP MEI! We had the best cart noodles in Hong Kong, and I don't use that superlative lightly because I have probably eaten over 200 bowls of cart noodles in my Hong Kong lifetime. We tried the top rated handmade, Hong Kong locally made shumai dumpling place, as per the shumai FB group and even ate dinner at Nam Shan Estate at a super popular family restaurant called Ban Heung Lau. NOTE: Once you go into the estate, go through the long corridor and go right. You'll see a set of stairs leading up. Its's there. It's on top of the Nam Shan Shopping centre/wet market area. Don't go all the way inside into the estate where people live, then you've gone too far. It's not at the actual playground.
