I'm your host, Darren Van Dam!

Here are some of the weirdest and best movies on Netflix right now. With a full list of 20 good Netflix movies ranging from comedies to sci-fi movies, this list should have something for everyone... while also having quite a few movies that are NOT for everyone.

Tired of looking for good movies to watch on Netflix, Amazon Prime or other streaming services? Every week I recommend a handful of the best movies on Netflix, Amazon, HBO etc. so my subscribers never run out of good movies to watch on streaming. Spending 10 minutes watching one of my videos could save you hours of searching, hours that you could otherwise spend watching good movies on streaming that you otherwise might not have ever watched or even known about.

Thanks for watching!

“I don’t feel at home in this world anymore” Is the shiiiiiiit! Should’ve been higher

The Master imho is among the best of the 2010’s in that it grows with each rewatch: 1. Joaquin Phoenix’ performance is a revelation 2. Incredible ensemble that also includes Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons, Rami Malek and the inimitable Philip Seymour Hoffman 3. The processing scene is widely regarded as one of the best dialogues in modern cinema 4. Cinematography and score are incredible 5. Best take on Scientology, but also a raw perspective on post-war PTSD

I Don't Feel At Home In This World Anymore is one of my favorite films of the past decade. A small Noir that feels epic & a viewing experience that never leaves you. Melanie Lynskey should've become a massive star off it.

Highly recommend Oxygen, first foreign movie in a long time that I didn't care was dubbed...was that good. And I don't feel at home in this world was freaking hilarious if you like dark humor

Great list! Thanks for the recommendations, I found at least three new great movies. Keep it up!
  • @KR-sh6rm
Great list! Love A Ghost Story. Easily one of my favorite movies. Beautiful in a mournful way.
  • @normynbaits1135
Great list. You just reminded me of my favorite "rabbit hole" experience. Safety Not Guaranteed > Creep > Creep 2. It was a long day.
  • Another superb list Darren! The Master is one of the best films I've ever seen. Synchronic is really well done too. I love most of these movies!
  • @erikiversen408
So true! I just watched Shutter Island for a second time and liked it more than the first viewing.
  • @scotth8828
Saw Apostle on your recommendation...HOLY HELL! That was so wild and great!
  • @jdk9673
I never saw Shutter Island because I accidentally spoiled the twist for myself. It never occurred to me that I might enjoy it even more after finding out. I’m gonna check it out now and I definitely never would have if I didn’t see this. Thanks!
  • @ratedRamsey
Well done as always sir. And a bunch of new content lately. Awesome. Thanks!!
  • "If you're ears prick up when you hear 'too wierd', this movie might be for you!" LOL Sat through three seasons of Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me, so bring it on! :-) Great show, btw. Thanks.
