  • She has the aura of someone safe and trustworthy, just like her character. Children can sense a safe adult.
  • That's how you know she's a good actress. She plays the part so well, she's mistaken for the real thing. What I love about Mariska is that she has the compassion that it takes to help others, and has dedicated her off time helping children and women of domestic violence.

I'm not at all surprised that a child would go to her for help, You can see it in the character she plays a caring and kind person.
  • @JL-zn7me
Of course I love “Olivia Benson”… but Mariska is the ultimate Wonder Woman! She is an inspiration, a genuinely beautiful human being and so down to earth.
  • @ttoo1988
This heals the inner child in me that always wanted to meet her ❤️Salute
  • And that’s why we love her . Her heart❤ is so big she didn’t have to stop everything but realized the importance of the situation got a little girl safely back to her mom just like her character liv does every episode

I'm a 33 year old guy who's watched SVU off and on 20 years now and if I felt lost I would run up to her and ask her for help too lol. She probably would get scared and run away though.

haven't watched the show since season 8 or 9. almost 20 years ago wow. i didn't know this show was still on. loved stabler, munch, and olivia.
  • Mariska Hargitay is such a phenomenal actress and she’s such a wonderful person and human being!!! She’s got a great warming heart!!! 💜 ♥️ ❤️ 😊😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤😊🎉🎉🎉

Oh my goodness loved this show as a kid, she definitely gives comforting, warm vibes. Absolutely love this actress
  • She has her Mom’s beautiful smile. Jayne would be so proud of her.
  • The child is likely to have seen Ms Hargitay on TV as a police officer, even if just on the adverts for the show. Seeing her in real life and putting the person together with the character, the kid knew she'd be the right person to ask for help in a park full of strangers.
  • I always believed in the good in the actors & actresses from the industry. Mariska Hargitay not only used her parental skills, but also her Olivia Benson skills 4 this little girl.
  • and that is because she is such a wonderful human being!!!....KUDOS Mariska!!!!....🥰🥰🥰
  • @lisahoupt1335
I think that is fantastic. She's not like one of those other actresses that would do nothing. She cares about people. She doesn't put herself above others.
  • That had to really touch her heart. We love that she is still coming too. Love her and if she leaves the show I dont want to watch it anymore.
  • @TheMpo1986
Shes literally going to be playing her for at least 20 more years. That's amazing.
  • ......loved this show.......fast pace and no boring moments....

I am happy to hear an actor cared more about another human being and did the right thing! Many actors would leave it to the "professionals"
