It always amazes me how colorful Treasure games are. The Genesis could only display 64 colors on screen at once. But you'd never know it by looking at a game like Dynamite Heddy.
-
I'll stand by what I always say; Dynamite Headdy is a hardass living in a candyass world
-
Sega always delivers back in the 90'w

Most underrated 16-bit game of all time. The crazy weird art, the constant variety, the visual spectacle: it's one of my favorite 2D platformers of all time. Glad to see it still getting love today.

My one protest about this review is that I don't think the main character is actually called "Dynamite" by anyone in game. It's always "Headdy". Still great that people are still discovering this game because it's a real gem by Treasure!

Wow.. Now this is a throwback! I actually owned this game back in the day. You're one of the best to do it, my intoxicated friend. Thanks for the quality content and trips down memory lane.

“You got a secret bonus point!”
-
You should have elaborated on the 'unsettling and sinister' vibe! I was intrigued

Dynamite Headdy and Rocket Knight Adventures - Mega-Drive's best non Sonic platformers. (For me anyway!)
-
This is the game I wish Jontron had reviewed. You know, back when he actually played video games.
-
The JP version also has more of a story (which has been fan translated), a lot of dialogue was removed in the western releases. This game has some of the cleanest voice samples in a MD game.

I played this at FuncoLand in 94 and immediately put it on my Christmas list as my big present. I’ve now bought it on two other platforms. Forgive the pun, this is an absolute treasure.

I had no idea I owned this game back in the day and completely forgot it existed but the clips are giving me waves of nostalgia and the memories are flooding back. Trippy.

2:10 The rotating tower is very similar to Mickey Mania , also on Genesis, except Dynamite Headdy was released 3 months earlier. Very interesting..
-
I have to say that Dynamite Headdy is my favorite game made by Treasure. It’s also one of my favorite games on the Sega Genesis.
-
One of my favorites on the Genesis. Every level does something new and creative, with some killer music throughout. I still give it a run once or twice a year.
-
Dynamite Headdy is amazing! I beat it finally about a year ago, but have loved this game since it's year of release.
-
I'm highly convinced that the next time you make a Play Station 1 review the intro should be the like you do with "SEGAAA drunk" but with the Play Station 1 boot up screen and in the end say "drunk".
-
Dynamite Headdy is one of my all time favorite Sega games.
