I always thought the highest of Linkin Park. My kids loved the band!! I did too. Then time stound still, the covid stuff. I pored myself in Linkin Park and knowing the truth. I listened to Linkin Park when I was in middle school (02 - 04), and stopped listening after Meteora—and after having heard about Chester’s death—One More Light hits HARD. I never heard it when it was released. Only recently did I sit down and listen to it: and I will freely admit that I felt a great emptiness inside of my chest when I heard it all the way through. I hope that Chester found the peace he sought from life—and I hope that he recognizes that even now, after all of these years, we cared that his light went out. And many years from now, we still will.
