Few fun facts about Kichi Kichi! If you're disabled (psychically or mentally) you eat there for free, he actually owns a small four bedroom apartment complex that he lets his employees' stay in if they don't have anywhere to call home, he offers a service to women to get home safe seeing as there's a nightclub with bouncers twenty minutes down the road and most awesomely he actually names some of his dishes after his regulars!
-
The chef from Kichi Kichi is about the closest thing we'll ever have to an anime protagonist chef. That guy is an absolute treasure.
-
I just appreciate Mitsuo Ito's response, "Instead of checking if it tastes good, it's more about whether it tastes different, because it is delicious every day."
-
The Kichi Kichi Chef is the definition of "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life."
-
The kichi kichi man is too precious Like we must protect him He’s so positive and he loves his job He’s great
-
The omurice guy is straight out of an anime and I love it. His enthusiasm, his hair, even the stuff he says "Instead of selling meals, I consider it a business of selling dreams." I MEAN COME ON!
-
As someone who was privileged enough to dine at Kichi Kichi in December last year, I can attest that the owner is an absolute bundle of joy and one of, if not the friendliest chef/owner I have ever met. And to anyone wondering. Yes, the food does taste as good as it looks in this vid.

“Mexico and Japan eat the most eggs Adopted Japanese-Mexican American. “It… it all makes sense now….. my love of egg…”
-
Imagine being Japanese and walking by them only to hear “egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg egg ...”
-
"Instead of selling meals, I consider it a business of selling dreams." Sweet Jesus he's an anime character
-
I absolutely love how Chef Motokichi is just enjoying himself and having fun all while doing his job. I'd honestly give that man a huge hug and trust him with my life
-
"theatre makes the food taste better which is why i make sure to enjoy myself" dude we can tell this guy has some serious charisma and i just enjoyed watching him smile and make assorted sounds while cooking
-
That chef's Charisma is beyond top notch. You know who I'm talking about.
-
he protecc he attac but most importantly when people eat his omurice people give a smile on his bacc
-
7:55 DID YALL SEE THAT HOLY CRAP
-
Is it just me or the chef from Kichi Kichi kinda looks like Japanese Matthew Mcconaughey?
-
can we also appreciate the old man who actually "invent" a new type of egg just because his son wants to eat egg?
-
kichi kichi omurice wasn’t even a process, it was a performance of some sort
-
I’ve found Japanese people to be one of the most humble, hard working and kind people in the word. Every time I see something that introduces them they’re always very personable and likable. Idk but I just loved all their interviews

The smile on Adams face when he grabbed the yolk was precious
