Today I'm testing out the Coolify 2 neck fan, described as a "neck air conditioner." I compare it to the Arctic Air Freedom and another Amazon neck fan. As always, the prices stated in this video are likely to change over time.

  • I've started seeing these neck fans around and purposely looked for you to see if it's worth it. Just a normal guy with the time and the money to try out products and give unbiased feedback. Much appreciated
  • Fantastic video as usual and you have epic taste in hats as well. Love it!

So those thermoelectric peltier generators are very cool technology and have virtually no use because of their huge power draw and the fact that it is essentially a plate that when current is ran through it one side cools and one side heats up. They are expensive to produce. I'd say this product is priced very accurate to the cost of the materials and assembly. Its why they have multiple models, I assume the top model is probably awesome at the job its created for with proper voltage and a larger battery pack. Plus if u cool the generator plates they work even better. they probably have a heat pipe in the top unit too to increase it's potency. But materials cost $. This is cool. I wondered if someone would find a use for the peltier generators due to the heavy energy draw. Now you know how it works. Good review 👍
  • Also the plate locations on the Coolify is crucial. The plates are located at your jugular. They will cool your blood as it circulates past them cooling your blood as it's pumped around.
  • Have three of these with the biggest battery and keep them charged daily. Just to manage to stay somewhat comfy why working in high heat environments. Worth it to me anyhow.. just have to keep them charging constantly
  • Great video!! You need to look into the “Neabot Pro Pet grooming kit & vacuum”. I think it would be a cool review to do. I love your content thanks!
  • Hi there a little input I will tell you that in Florida we have a lot of humidity and I use my fan around my neck Amazon brand and it works really well because the humidity makes you sweat. And when you sweat when the fans blow on your neck from your sweating it has an air conditioning a fact so the more you sweat the better the fan seems to work.

Sounds like an interesting device and have seen them mentioned on TV once and a while. I dont see myself getting one of these, because of cost, and since I am out on a golf course for several hours and would not last that kind of duration, even putting it on between shots in the summer time. Not sure how much of a noise distraction it really would be playing with other golfers. So I will pass on getting one of these. I will stick with using my large Golf Umbrella, plus it is cheaper and needs no charging. LOL. take care.
  • I have one and I love it. I agree, the battery could last a little longer.. I bought a portable battery that I can plug in if I need to with a 6 foot cord. I do have the bedroom battery that does last 3 hours.
  • I carry a cold water bottle (75¢) and wet my bandana put in on my head under my hat and works very well😊

Saw these getting popular and immediately went to look for Freakin Reviews. GREAT REVIEW AS ALWAYS! Im not convinced to get neither of them from price to how well they worked.. It seems to be good up to your ear down. Not the front of your face or forehead.. It seems to need a remodel for sure.
