(3) Help
i. I've done my best to prepare these videos. It is regrettable that several matches exist across multiple videos streams but re-encoding videos of this quality is prohibitively slow so I hope you can see past this inconvenience.
ii. You'll see that I've tried to list the AKA fighter's name and score followed by the AU fighter's name and score. Undoubtedly typos exist in the video titles, so if you notice any, please let me know!
iii. If you have any recommendations for me (such as additional tags in your native language) please don't hesitate to contact me!

(4) Comments
I hate to disable comments, so please do your best to avoid offensive language.

All videos were recorded with the Panasonic HDC-TM700 1080p/60fps (The top consumer camera on the market today. www.amazon.com/)

Without a doubt one of the best kumite fights ever. The athleticism of both Aghayev and Matsuhisa was incredible to watch. Its a pity there has to be only one winner. Aghayev's distancing from 8:00-9:00 is something to learn outside the realms of karate.

That was a great match. Aghayev's throws were excellent, Matsuhisa's kicking was impressive, I thought he let himself get cornered too much and he could have used his size more to control the ring. Both had great footwork and very quick tsuki. Credit to both of them. And true sportsmen in spirit as well, very competitive yet full of respect and mutual congratulations.

@nickotko oh right... im a competitor myself under wkf rules, was always under the impression the leg had to be fully extended on contact to register a score...
  • @grappein
look at all the judges when Matsuhisa pulls of the scorpoin kick at 3:35 hahahha Priceless!!
  • @danielmsms
impresionante, gran pelea, eso se llama dedicacion, grande aghayev
  • @JPEWD yes, it was against the rules. But Aghayev bent the rules. How? He clinched Matsuhisa when the ref does not see his hands clasping. So, instead of Aghayev's take down appearing as a throw (since his hands are not "clasping"), it appeared as a takedown. Breaks of the game. Adaptability: something that you can also carry in real combat
