I'm Mexican ...I'm scared of my own people..don't travel to Mexico period... there's beautiful places in the US.
  • I’m an American living in Australia. I feel these Aussies were probably very naive about how dangerous Mexico is. I lived in San Diego before moving to Australia and have been to Mexico many times over the years but would NEVER go the past 10 years or so- way too dangerous. I feel terrible for the families and can only imagine what happened to these poor guys. I also hate that some people imply they might have caused their own problems by doing things they shouldn’t have. I feel they were in the wrong place at the wrong time while trying to enjoy a surfing trip. So very sad and tragic. STAY OUT OF MEXICO!

Very sad. I don't think anyone should be vacationing in Mexico at this point.

Boycott Baja. Young folks are kind and well meaning and think everyone else is the same. Not the case! So sorry for their grieving families.🙏

  • I wish the families good luck in getting their bodies out of Mexico without having to pay huge sums of money to the Mexican authorities. This is how things work in Mexico.

Baja has a US State Dept travel advisory. When I was a kid in the 1960s, my family drove to Ensenada for a day trip from LA. No issues. Things sure have changed.
